November 2022 – Barcelona, Spain. The PayRetailers Group, Pago Digital, and Paygol, working together with the NGO Manos Unidas, end their annual corporate social responsibility (CSR) cycle supporting the Mexican charity, Strengthening economic and social support networks for women in Chilón, Chiapas.
After the success of our contribution to charitable causes in Colombia and Brazil, PayRetailers Group presents its third and final social responsibility action of the current year.
This alliance with Manos Unidas in México focuses on women’s self-management groups in Chiapas.
Poverty in México mainly affects women and children as they are the most socially and economically vulnerable. The project aims to especially empower them by promoting women’s savings-led, micro-financing initiatives which crucially offer financial autonomy, as well as provide a support network.
The PayRetailers Group, Pago Digital and Paygol, will donate a percentage of all transactions processed during the month of November. The proceeds will be used to contribute to strengthening these support networks for women in Chilón, Chiapas.
The PayRetailers Group will continue to lead this type of Social Responsibility strategy for Latin America in 2023, with the clear objective of supporting charitable causes that promote social and financial inclusion in the local markets where PayRetailers operates.
