PayRetailers S.L., (PayRetailers), with registered office at Avenida Diagonal 682, planta 1, 08034, Barcelona, Spain is responsible for the use and protection of your personal data, and in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 and Organic Law 3/2018, wishes to inform you of the following:

What personal data will we use?

PayRetailers will collect via websites, emails, phone calls, personal interviews and any other means we make available to you, the following information:

  • + Personal identification and contact information: full name, age, country of residence, address, e-mail, telephone, work and academic background, and personal and work references, among others in the same category.
  • + Financial data: related information, gross and/or net income, among others in the same category.

What are the purposes of the processing?

The personal data we collect will be used for the following primary purposes, which are required to formalize the employment relationship:

  • i) ) To confirm your identity and personal information.
  • ii) To conduct evaluations, analyses and investigations of the data subject for the purpose of determining his or her suitability for a position within PayRetailers or its affiliates and subsidiaries.
  • iii) ) To request personal and employment references for the data subject.
  • iv) To comply with PayRetailers’ legal obligations.

Legal basis for processing

PayRetailers uses the following legal bases for the processing of personal data:

a. Consent. The consent provided by you for us to process your personal data.

How long do we store your personal data?

We will retain your data only for the period strictly necessary for the respective purposes of processing or for the legal period, if applicable.

To whom do we transfer your data?

PayRetailers shares your data with other PayRetailers Group entities that operate under the same standards, processes and/or internal policies under which PayRetailers operates.
PayRetailers also shares your data, through referrals, to persons who are data processors, such as service providers or business partners with whom PayRetailers has a legal relationship. PayRetailers verifies that such service providers or business partners comply with the same data protection standards as PayRetailers.
We wish to inform you that PayRetailers does not transfer data to third parties, except in exceptional cases that do not require your consent, as stipulated by applicable law, such as those needed or legally required for the safeguarding of a public interest, or for the diligent management or administration of justice.
International data transfer
Your personal data may be stored outside the European Union by our suppliers, service providers or by PayRetailers Group companies for the purposes described in this privacy policy.
Your personal data that is eventually transferred to other countries will be processed with the same level of protection, in compliance with the guarantees required by the applicable legislation and under PayRetailers security policies.

How can you exercise your privacy rights?

You have the right to request confirmation of the existence of personal data processing (information); access your data and request the availability of a copy of the personal data you have provided to us (access); the correction of incomplete, inaccurate or outdated data (rectification); the revocation, at any time, of your previously granted consent to data processing as well as information about the possibility of you not giving consent for certain data processing and the consequences of not consenting (revocation); the anonymization, blocking or deletion of data that is unnecessary, excessive or processed in breach of applicable legislation (deletion); to oppose the use of your personal data for specific purposes (opposition); limit the processing of your data (limitation); the portability of your personal data to another service or product provider (portability), as well as information about the public and private entities with which we share data.

  • 1. Full name of the data subject.
  • 2. A copy of the document that confirms your identity on both sides.
  • 3. In the event that the data subject appears through a legal representative, the latter must also display, by the same means, the documents confirming the legal representation (i.e., simple power of attorney letter signed by the data subject, the legal representative and two witnesses, accompanied by a copy of the identification documents of the legal representative and the two witnesses);
  • 4. A clear and precise description of the personal data regarding which you are seeking to exercise any of the rights.

PayRetailers has implemented technical and organizational security measures in order to prevent the loss, theft and/or modification of and/or unauthorized access to your personal data, such as access controls, minimizing the number of people accessing the data and the implementation of cybersecurity tools such as firewalls and antivirus, among others.

How can you find out about changes to this Privacy Policy?

This privacy policy may be modified, changed, or updated as a result of new legal requirements, our own requirements for the services we offer, our privacy practices or other causes.

The procedure through which notifications of changes or updates will be carried out will be by posting information on our website, by e-mail or any other technological means available at the time.
